True Story - Sultanate Of Yogyakarta

Shadows Of Pavements presents Sultanate Of Yogyakarta. The Sultanate of Yogyakarta is today called The Special Region of Yogyakarta. 

Yogyakarta Sultanate was given the status as a Special Administrative Region, making Yogyakarta the only region headed by a monarchy in Indonesia. 

It is governed by the Sultan  of Yogyakarta Hamenkubuwana X and duke Paku Alam IX. 

Hamengkubuwana X is the second sultan during the Republic of Indonesia. He is the tenth Sultan of Yogyakarta. 

The Sultanate is situated in the central region of Java island and has 3.594.290 inhabitants(2014) and has an area of 3.133,15 square kilometers(1.209,72 square miles). 

The capital is Yogyakarta City with 404.003 inhabitants(2014). 

The city of Yogyakarta became the capital of the Indonesian Republic from January 1946 to December 1948 after the fall of Jakarta to the Dutch.

Shadows Of Pavements presents Today´s Beer! Harbin Beer is a Chinese beer of russian-polish origin brewed in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. Founded in 1900 by a russian of polish origin from Warsaw.  He named it after himself Wroblewski, and in 1908 it was renamed to Gulunia.   In 1932 the company was renamed to Harbin Brewery Factory, and from 1946 it was controlled by the Sovjetunion. In 1950 the brewery was returned to the chinese by Stalin and renamed to Harbin Brewery. MrLiliequist
